Villa Sa Calma Esventada

The villa is found on a complex of 20 independent villas. The advantage of this particular villa is that it is situated at the end a quiet street with only 1 neighbouring villa alongside and a beautiful private garden offering you peace and tranquillity.

The villa itself is on 2 floors. On the ground floor you will find the living/dining room, kitchen and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and an en-suite.

The lounge/dining room has 2 large comfortable sofas, around a coffee table and TV on the wall showing a large array of channels. The dining table in here seats 6 people comfortably and the room is very light and looks onto the beautiful out door terrace and gardens. The terrace has a 4 seater table under an awning, ideal for an outdoor breakfast or evening meal al-fresco. There is also high-speed fibre-optic Wifi throughout the villa for use of guests.

To the rear of the lounge is the kitchen, equipped with fridge-freezer, gas cooker, electric oven, a range of fitted base & wall cupboards, and is fully equipped with all the crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, utensils etc for the family self-catering holiday.

The complex has a beautiful communal swimming pool for the use of all the residence and this is at most a 2 minute walk from the villa.

Stairs from the lounge/dining room lead to the first floor where you will find the stunning master bedroom. Here you will find a queen-size bed and fitted wardrobes. The other room has 2 single beds and another newly refurbished bathrooms services both these bedrooms. All rooms are fitted with fans.

From this floor, there is access to the upper roof terrace, which has been converted into a solarium with dining area. This is a truly stunning place to have dinner with views all across the beautiful Menorcan countryside and the sea in the background.

The villa is within a couple of minutes stroll from bars, restaurants, supermarket and a pharmacy in one direction, and in the opposite, a similar very short stroll to access to the famous and iconic Cami de Cavalls, the ancient but restored bridle path that encircles virtually all of Menorca’s coastlines and which also passes through Menorca’s huge UNESCO designated Biosphere natural park, and the beautiful beachside village of Es Grau, an unspoilt traditional Menorcan fishing village. This is a walkers, hikers and nature lovers paradise!

Arenal den Castell is an ideal urbanization for your family holidays, belonging to the municipality of Es Mercadal, located in the north of the island of Menorca. The urbanisation of Arenal den Castell has several hotels, flats and detached houses. It is an area with a lot of activity in summer, where you can find all the services you need. It is a very familiar and quiet area.

Arenal den Castell has one of the best beaches in the north of Menorca, a beach with the same name as the area. It is a beach in the shape of a shell with fine sand. The beach has all the services, such as lifeguard and boat rentals, beach umbrellas and sun loungers. It is an ideal area to enjoy with children, as it is a very safe and shallow beach.

Arenal en Castell is ideally located, being less than a 5 minute drive to other wonderful beaches such as Na Macaret & Son Saura. 7-8 minutes drive will take you to the beach of Playa de Fornells and its historic and beautiful small town, marina and port, which provides a host of fine dining opportunities, bars, shops selling a wide range of artesian products, and breath taking coastal views and walks (including the huge bay of Fornells). From it’s small town  you can also from here access the Cami de Cavalls –  a must for keen walkers and nature lovers. Menorca’a abundance of south coast beaches such as Binibeca, Punta Prima,  Alcalfar, Cala En Porter etc are around 40 minutes drive .

Journey time by car to Mahon and the airport approximately 30 minutes and the same for Cuitadella, Menorca’s imposing former capital, dominating it’s west coast and many natural beaches and coves.
